Locally owned, Locally sourced, locally operated
In 2012, we began boiling sap on a wire grate over a fire. It was a simple operation, but we couldn't resist the delicious result - Pure Michigan maple syrup, a natural sweetener with many health benefits. For the next few years, we shared pints of our syrup with friends and family and we even donated syrup to raise money at fundraisers. Over time, we tapped more trees and eventually the small pot became a wood-fired evaporator stove with a top of the line reverse osmosis system.
In 2019, we began experimenting with other maple products and launched Kalamazoo Maple Company.
While syrup remains core to our business, we now have a variety of other maple products all locally made and sourced in Kalamazoo. From Maple Sugar to Maple Candy to our very popular Maple Cotton Candy, we continue to innovate. We love bringing people of all ages delicious Mitten-Made Maple Products!
